I call this "Karma".
This cat, Milhouse, has been with us for 11 years, and when my oldest son (who is 11) was Jesse's age, he did the same thing. I'm amazed he will still lie there and allow the baby to open a can a whoop-ass on him.
I call this "Short-Term Memory"
Note the nice red mark on his forehead from his tumble over the cat onto the floor just minutes before. We never learn our lessons.
